The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife Mega Post
Added 2023-12-01 14:45:41 +0000 UTCI've been saving these epic photos for this month to make it special for you and I can't wait any more. lol Several months ago I got this giant octopus in a cardboard box in the mail with no tags or notes. I put it in the garage because my husband said maybe it had a camera inside and was spying on us. LOL About a week later a friend said hey did you get that thing I sent you. I was like what? He explained he saw it and thought of me. I thought that's really strange. Then he showed me the photos at the end of this post and explained maybe I'd like to re-create the concept. At first, I thought it might be too sexual of a theme for me. But, I said you never know, I may be bored one day and feel like making love to an octopus for fun. You just never know with me. I ended up getting access to shoot in this bathtub and thought it was perfect to use this octopus and get him off my shoot list. The photographer is anonymous. So, thank my friend and my photographer for waiting patiently for me to post these. And, thank YOU for being here this month to give us a reason to do crazy things and create art!

2023-12-03 17:53:03 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed these. Although a moderately fascinating creature, as in a can't look away but grossed out form of fascinating, I am not a big fan octopi themselves. So the fact that I enjoyed this entire collection in spite of its octopus inclusion says a lot about everything else going on in the art. 😉 It's fun that your stepping outside your comfort zone yet in a way that doesn't compromise
