Face update

Updating everyone at once, since I can't remember who I told. (I know I told my patrons here bc you're important people.) In May I had a mole near my temple, shown in the first modeling photo ( taken by @atmosphoto1 ) sliced off my face. The results came back with abnormal cells with slight atypia left behind. So, they scheduled me to have surgery to have more area cut away. I drove to West Virginia mid August. I was scheduled with a physician's assistant. She took a photo, left the room and came back 20 minutes later. She said because it was on my temple right above veins, they would have to reschedule me with the doctor, but that could be in Zanesville. A nurse came in and told me my face would be bruised, swollen, 4-6 weeks healing time, have to stay out of the sun, a definite scar, internal and external sutures and possibly a skin flap. The second photo is from that day. So, they rescheduled me for today. I did not schedule any Fall shoots and got all my affairs in order thinking the worst (truly...anxiety and brains are horrible). The doctor came in today, said where is this thing at. He looked,  said it's healing and looking good. We're going to monitor it and look at it again in 6 months if that's okay with you. You have no idea my relief. Third photo is today (ignore my hormonal acne). Long story short.... I am ok & I can still model more this year! So, if we have not gotten to work together this year and you want to, hit me up! Preference given to those I've not shot with yet this year. Otherwise, I'll just continue on with my regular slate of photographers. Unfortunately, I don't travel much outside of Ohio, but I'm otherwise game or if you're traveling through my area. Thanks for all the messages of concern and thinking about me. Keep it up. I think it's healing my face. And, obviously go get suspicious things looked at before they get too bad. I would say this popped up on my face about 7-8 years ago and grew in size. Doctor said was fine when smaller. New doctor said it had an irregular darker color on one edge and took it off. It was bigger than a pencil eraser and reddish in color. Doctor from today told me I will notice if it goes bad because it will be black and ugly. So, I guess look for those things.
