PATRON REWARDS: How This Patreon Works
Added 2015-09-05 02:52:44 +0000 UTCThought I'd clear this up for everyone so there's no confusion! Here's how the process works with the images I'll be creating for this patreon.
1.) I'll upload a censored version of the image here as the "paid post"
2.) At the end of the month, after your cards are charged and payments have processed, I will e-mail out the uncensored version along with any rewards you may have pledged for! (Print coupon codes, hi res copies, .psd files, process images, etc.)
3.) If I've created multiple images that month, and provided you were signed up at the time I made my "paid post" for the images, you'll get all the images and the rewards for the tier you subscribed per-image. If you have a "monthly cap" on your patronage, you'll get the images you paid for. The ones you paid for are dictated by the chronological order in which I post them throughout the month! Want more images per month? Raise that monthly cap to accommodate!
WHAT?!? WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE END OF THE MONTH?!?
Reason #1: The Dine & Dash: Unfortunately, a lot of folks here like to "dine & dash" - meaning they sign up, gain access to patron-only materials, then delete their patronage before their payment is processed at the end of the month!
Reason #2: Piracy protection! Similar to the "dine & dash" these people - in addition to taking materials they're not paying for - are also archiving, reposting, and distributing that stolen work. Boo!
Both of these things are super lame! So, until Patreon figures out a way to prevent them, this is how things will work.
Think of it as signing up for a monthly Image pack, where the images are reavealed throughout the month as I work on them!
