Where it all started... Self portraits
Added 2023-05-09 13:08:38 +0000 UTCAs you'll remember I got rid of my Deviant Art account. I couldn't let these beauties die with it, so I downloaded them first. These are the very first self-portraits I ever took. I used to like to heavily edit my photos, including nature photos. I would up the contrast and the color saturation or apply filters or smash two images together. These were all taken in my bedroom or guest room, which have a lot of junk in them, so I assume my initial reason for editing them like this was to hide the backgrounds. The first one (Bad Girl Meat) I framed with my teeth (lol) from when I had 5 teeth removed to get braces and displayed it in The Erotic Show. As you'll see in a few of these I had braces. I got adult braces on my 30th birthday. I will be 45 in June. So, been a while. It's interesting to look back on my body.... no bush, armpit hair, shorter dyed hair, and much smaller boobs! I also have slightly more muscles now. The second one Beauty and the Bricks was a filter overlay. I liked how it made me look like a ghost blending into the wall and still do like it. I framed it and displayed it on a brick wall for The Erotic Show. It was impactful that way, imo. Anyway, hope you enjoy looking back on them, too. XO Have you seen these before? :)
