Hello, Patrons! Marianne here.

First off, I want to apologize for not getting those patron emails out to you yet; unfortunately we are learning there is a BIG difference between renting and owning, and our place was a bit more of a fixer than we thought. (Also, apparently the washer we had to purchase--to replace the previous one that was held together with duct tape--explodes. CURSE YOU, SAMSUNG!!)

HOWEVER, after weeks of furious painting, cleaning, unpacking, handypeople, delivery people, etc, I thought I'd present you guys with photos of our new spaces that your pledges helped us afford!

Thanks to careful budgeting, your dollars have gone towards so far:

- Samson MK-10 Microphone Boom Stand

- FocusRite Scarlett Solo pre-amp

- Audio-Technica AT4040 Condenser Mic

- Green screen w/stand and 3-pt lighting kit

- A metric shitton of acoustic foam

These new pieces of equipment, in addition to what we were using previously, will help streamline our process immensely. We now have two separate mics, one purely for Mark Remark/live action projects and the other exclusively for voiceover. I spend up to 2hrs each weekday auditioning for upcoming projects, so having separate mics is going to be immensely helpful for our deadlines, since I won't have to commandeer Martin's PC while I have to get my own work done.

Our next big goals are a new camera and a whisper room to really push our recording setup to studio quality. But those will come later, after we have stopped bleeding money.
