When I know a photographer is shooting multiple photos with each click, I move really fast through a posing sequence, just moving my body. Obviously, it sucks to narrow photos sets like this down, but you can get a more authentic body or facial expression and sometimes a less posed looking pose. This isn't my favorite way to pose or my favorite way photographers shoot, but it is a frequent one. I think photographers just like to have a lot of raw material in case some photos are bad (which they are, it happens) so the norm is shooting lots of photos quickly (machine gun style) versus slowing down and planning out shots and facial expressions. I, myself as a photographer, am often trying to find the balance of speed needed. You feel like you should go go go, but the model is patient and there to do what they're told and will wait for instructions. I just need to slow myself down and focus and see if what I'm getting it what I want, and adjust accordingly.
