Damn it, I legitimately just paid for the patreon in hopes to suggest a lovely choice. I've always wanted to support yall through patreon but this was quite the sad news to find out that it stopped two months ago. Overall im glad that you gave the community the opportunity to suggest games but totally understand reasoning behind stopping them. Im hopeful that there may be some chance yall do it again but won't be upset if it just ends as an experiment. Much love grumps ❤️

Go look at how many views it got and all the comments begging for it not to be a one-off and agreeing that Stray is a very special game among all the lovely choices. Absolutely everyone loves that game and it's not that long. You guys should finish it.

2025-10-08 18:18:50 +0000 UTCI know this happened a while ago but something I love about this GG is when they play a game and Arin is the guy goofing and riffing about the game as he plays and Dan sits there also goofing but falls in love with whatever game and if its a game I love, I love watching Dan fall for it as well ..the dynamic is great so longer series of games yall may not have played due to length I think the community would fuck with that ..ive been wanting to see a Bioshock playthrough for years cause i think Arin and Dan can riff off it and goof off but at the same time I think Dan would love it.. Dan missed out on a lot of games growing up so thats the charm for me.. obviously Arin can enjoy the games too and thats awesome lol Bioshock is just one example too and I bet everyone has games theyd love to see.. overall I totally understand why its going but I do hope more long series happen as a result of their testing here. Love yall been watching since the channel started👌

2025-10-08 16:42:42 +0000 UTCThis is a good call honestly. There were sooo many episodes from great games but them being cut off as a one off just plain felt bad. And that's probably more to do with how a LOT of the suggestions were very long games. But inversely the show's setup wouldn't have worked unless you were almost exclusively playing small indie horror games which there are too many that are 30min-2 hours total to beat. *Most* games, and I'll say probably all of the ones suggested are included in this, are games that are at minimum 8 hours long (and some were much longer than that). Having a one off episode for an hour at most was like watching only the first 15 minutes of a movie and leaving the theater. it would be like watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy and ending it before Frodo ever even gets the ring. Like Stray ended while you were still in the middle of the tutorial. And the sad thing for me was seeing that you guys actually enjoyed them, with the episodes being really funny too, but then it just got tossed to the wayside. I don't know, maybe there's a format where this works but from what was being suggested it just wouldn't work. I'd suggest maybe take this episode spot and fill it with an indie spotlight or early access thing, seems like a good way to interact with new developers who could really use the eyes on their games that aren't getting them. But for my preference I enjoy seeing you guys able to play through a full game (even if it's a short one), that's what got me into the channel and that's what has kept me here, and I know that's a difficult ask especially when long series don't get the views you need. Thanks for reaching out and trying to include the community though, I'd still like to see if we can get a list of the people that suggested the game if you're playing it because of suggestions.

2025-09-28 10:36:17 +0000 UTCI think it would be a cool idea if you did like, a monthly patreon show where you played the game that everyone voted was the most popular, and every month people vote on if they want a new episode of that or to pick a new game. I think just directly asking us if we want more episodes of something versus a shakeup would sort of take that analysis paralysis away from yall.

I know some really cool games that aren't getting the love they deserve because they were made by small teams or are niche categories. I only found out about Void Stranger because of Super Eyepatch Wolf and you could make a bigger impact than him because of how frequently you post videos.

I hope you can come up with an alternative that works for you <3 I still think you guys should play Amber Isle. Dan would LOVE making a little dinosaur character and it's all about running a store!

It’s One-Off Wednesday or a One Shot Onsie or have a gunshot and Wilhelm scream at the end as you “kill” the game and move on lol. I think that would be enjoyable, and as we get used to it, we can drop the expectations and enjoy the ride. The fanbase is a little older, right? We can adjust. :)

What I really wanted to say is i would love you guys to go back to more of finishing games again. I just finished watching the Resident Evil 1 "the movie" video and really enjoy watching you stick at games you enjoy. The whole 1 - 3 episodes per game is okay but i love the longer play throughs, (unless its a shitty game). I had come here to ask for a Resident evil 0 playthrough and would love to see it in future.

2025-08-27 03:05:45 +0000 UTCIt does make sense that you wouldn't be able to play a very long game, since there are so many suggestions, it's impossible to finish every single game and have room to play your own choices on the channel. I think the way it disappoints someone is that they don't get to see your reactions to some of their favorite parts of the game that could occur much farther in than one episode would cover. Anyway a game I was thinking about suggesting for a while, but never got around to it lol; I would love to see you play FPS Chess on steam, would be great to see Arin maybe having his revenge against Dan in some sort of chess lol.

I think the Weekend Long Game, is a great idea to help with that. Dedicate a space and time to a longer game, but still have the week for normal game grumps shenanigans

I will be here as long as that continues. I would enjoy more normal episodes uploaded in all their swearing glory. I very much enjoy anything you guys do longform but I understand obviously time isn't infinite for production and things so you have to be picky about what to put that time towards. That's about all the input I have, thanks for the laughs and smiles in hard times.

I'm pretty bummed that I finally spent the money to join the patreon so I could suggest voices of the void and it didn't make it on the wheel and then you guys decided to stop lovely choices. I really appreciate the daily content and love the videos, just wish there was some warning beforehand.
