This is my friend again from last Sunday. In this set, I was just experimenting with bodyscapes and close-ups. For some reason, I do find body types different than mine hard to shoot in a flattering way. So, whether it's a male or a female with more curves or differently placed curves, I don't get how to shoot those automatically. Maybe because I've shot myself so long and I intuitively know myself and my best angles. Also, most of these people who are kind enough to get naked for me, don't often press to do it again (either they don't like my pics, my ideas are too whacky for them, they don't want their face to show, they are just busy, I have no idea), but the fact remains I don't shoot anyone but myself often enough to figure out how to make them as beautiful as I see their soul in real life. My friend is a glowing beacon, but these photos don't translate that. If you have constructive criticism on these or tips on how you approach different body types, I would welcome them. I did shoot a model who has a body type more similar to mine today and I feel like I nailed them. So, I need help with body types not like mine. Thanks.
