We have been following each other for quite a while on Instagram. She is a traveling model from Texas. I only found out two days before she was coming through that she would be coming right by my studio and was willing to work me into her schedule. So, I came up with 5 or so concepts. I was over prepared, which was to my advantage. I asked her to bring specific wardrobe items and I provided some things. She's smaller than me, so I knew most of my stuff would fit her, too. I made this floral headpiece and bought the oval frame in a vintage shop. The bodysuit and boots are hers and worked perfectly. I was shooting through gold cellophane, red saran wrap, and rainbow sheer fabric in some of these. I like the romantic soft focus aged look it gave to the photos. I am happy with these. I would welcome your feedback and constructive criticism (be nice, I'm more sensitive about my model photography than my modeling). I will post a few more tomorrow that I wasn't holding anything in front of my camera lens. Took a few more as she was chatting with me and wearing this, sitting in the scene I created. :) I hope I can connect with a few more art models over time. Professional models are very helpful versus amateurs or shooting friends. You only have to worry about your photography and not directing them in posing or encouraging them in their nudity. And, they're usually more open to the weird art ideas I have. And, you don't have to worry about a boyfriend seeing the photos and nixing you using them or the model themselves seeing them and not liking them. Professional with a signed model release is the way to go! This idea is not that weird, but the next one you'll see is. Stay tuned! :)
