So, it was a dream shoot idea of his to shoot at Alan Cottrill's Sculpture Studio. We've been trying to get this shoot in since last year. I grew my armpit hair out in December of 2019 at his preference of armpit hair (I only thought I'd have it a couple months and would shave it come Summer 2020, but it has stayed around over a year now because I feel ambivalent about it this second go round of growing it out - I grew it out a couple years ago, too but wasn't right for me at that time), waited for warmer weather as Alan Cottrill's Studio is an unheated old warehouse kind of building, COViD happened, and so here we are. This shoot finally happened about a month ago, early May. Alan is a friend of mine, so I asked for permission, and understanding nudity and figure work has been around for artists since the beginning of time, he was happy to oblige. It was a great shoot. The sculpture studio was open, but no one came in during the entire shoot! On a Saturday afternoon! I showed Alan a couple of the photos and he loved them, too. More to come.
