Red Mesh Mouth Explosion - Self portraits
Added 2021-05-12 01:56:51 +0000 UTCUsually self portraits are quite a bit of work, between acquiring items, setting up the scene, checking lighting, setting the timer delay, crawling out and back to check the image, adjusting, over and over again. So, I was saving this giant box that was big enough for me to fit in in hopes that I could get a photographer interested in the concept enough to shoot it, but no one was. I decided I needed to take matters into my own hands so that I could get rid of this box that was taking up a lot of space in my studio. By some magic, the very first shot here was what I envisioned. The other two I just took because I felt like I should take more. haha. Like I should keep trying? But, I think some of my best or favorite shots happened like this... a one time shot or a strange twist of the camera or an accidental wow. The interpretation is up to the viewer and that's what I like about it. And, y'all photographers that like this and missed out? Well, the credit is all mine now! I don't have to split credit for my concept with you! ha ;-)
