first, thanks for your lasting support and donations. It was a great help in my struggle to keep making a living on YouTube, in spite of the ever changing rules that push creators like me away from the platform.
I really tried. Patreon, plenty of sponsoring jobs that I tried to do in a way that the nature of my channel remained intact... all creating more and more pressure due to deadlines and the flood of disastrous "Your video was deleted/demonetized" messages from YouTube.
Second, I really have to apologize for falling behind on my promises to you guys. I really tried, but there was simply not enough time.
Now I have decided that I will give up YouTube as a professional. I took on a normal job again, no longer monetize my YouTube videos, no longer accept sponsoring and... will delete my Patreon account. In fact I have already applied for that and I am waiting for approval.
Don't worry, I will still keep making YouTube videos, but now it is a hobby again. I still love posting videos about my silly inventions, so this isn't the end of The Slingshot Channel. It is now an amateur's channel again, is all. So I will STILL keep showing you some features :)
I have one last small request for you guys: Please consider giving the money you reserved for me to another hard working YouTuber who is still fighting. There are plenty of those and they deserve your help.
