Hi Everyone! Apologies for the delay, but I've been dealing with some health issues recently which made it challenging to balance recovery and project work. However, I’m excited to announce the Patreon release of Project p1.19.5! This update now includes the following improvements:
Anti-scraping fixes have been implemented for various data sources which should restore cataloging accuracy back to normal levels. (Special thanks to all the kind users who reported troublesome and rarer edge-cases to be looked at!)
Backend work has been added for the new deduplication feature which will help users remove duplicate titles from their collections. This feature should be enabled in the next upcoming release. This also coincides with our plans for an Editor mode soon after, which would allow users to edit catalog entries directly.
Rolled up all other accumulated bug fixes and updates found during the course of development.
As always, be sure to back up your data and test any major changes on a small sample before applying them to your full collection. While I don’t expect to find any serious problems, If you can identify any issues, please feel free to reach out to me on Discord so we can try and resolve them! If you have any Patreon specific issues (e.g. Billing), please feel free to reach me on Patreon.
Note: While this project may run fine on other platforms, please keep in mind that the current supported (tested) operating systems are Windows 10, and Debian 11 (Bullseye).
