Today is the 5 year anniversary of AltStore’s launch, which also means this Patreon is now 5 years old 🎂
It’s been a monumental year for us, and a lot of our biggest dreams are finally coming to fruition. We were able to pressure Apple into finally changing their rules regarding emulators and Delta is finally on the App Store after facing years of rejection. And on the same day Delta was added to the App Store, we launched our first “official” version of AltStore in the EU — AltStore PAL 🇪🇺
We couldn’t have made it this far without everyone’s support throughout the years. Whether you joined during the initial launch or if you just joined last month, this community is what has led this project to succeed.
And today, we’re celebrating by releasing something many people have been eagerly waiting for since the beginning - AltStore 2.0! Finally, 3rd-party sources are open for all AltStore users along with all the other improvements we've made over the last few years, and we can't wait for everyone to try it 🙂

P.S. We are also releasing AltStore 2.0rc3 for you, which adds back the ability to bypass the permissions error alert if you choose!
If you’re already using the AltStore beta, you can try updating to this version from the My Apps tab. Alternatively, you can manually update AltStore by reinstalling it with the appropriate attached AltServer (you do not need to delete AltStore first).
If you're installing the beta for the first time, make sure to first link your Patreon account in the Settings tab and then follow these instructions.

2024-11-05 19:52:47 +0000 UTCHi Alex! The notice you got about multiple AltServers is not DRM and there is no DRM in AltServer. I think the issue you may be having is related to our marketing version #'s being labeled differently. I'm happy to assist you further in DMs - sorry for the inconvenience!
