**Chapter 127: Forehead Kiss, Embrace, Necklace Gift, Hokage's Blessing – Buff Maxed Out!**
---
In the secret chamber of the Senju Clan.
When Tsunade led Uchiha Yosuke, Uchiha Mikoto, and Uzumaki Kushina into her private research lab within the Senju complex, both Mikoto and Kushina couldn’t hide their astonishment.
The room was packed with shelves of bottles, jars, and countless advanced instruments they had never seen before.
Although Uzumaki Kushina also resided in the Senju Clan compound, she hadn’t studied medical ninjutsu and wasn’t particularly interested in research, so this was her first time seeing such a setup.
Uchiha Yosuke, however, was different. Because of his past dealings with his hereditary illness, he had been here several times. Yet, this time he was surprised to find many new research instruments in the lab.
“Mikoto, lie down. Let me take a closer look at your eyes.”
“Yes!”
Mikoto nodded respectfully, then lay down on the examination chair. Under the intense light, she activated her Sharingan as instructed by Tsunade.
As the Sharingan evolved from the three-tomoe state to the mesmerizing Mangekyo, Tsunade was once again struck by its beauty, even though she had seen it before.
Uzumaki Kushina, on the other hand, was wide-eyed throughout the process.
Only Yosuke remained calm, though he could see through some of the secrets hidden within the Mangekyo Sharingan that Mikoto had revealed. She hadn’t even told Uzumaki Mito about this, but Kushina wasn’t kept in the dark.
Tsunade didn’t bring up the Mangekyo Sharingan, leaving the decision to Mikoto. Eventually, Mikoto chose to reveal it in front of Kushina—not just out of trust, but to strengthen the bond between herself and Tsunade.
After all, once Kushina sealed the Nine-Tails within her, she would be vulnerable to the Mangekyo Sharingan. Sharing this information with her in advance was a gesture of mutual trust.
“Hmm, you must be cautious with this power,” Tsunade explained professionally. “Especially right after awakening it. The surge of special chakra in the brain can be converted into power, but this energy needs time to stabilize. At least six months—avoid using it during that time, or it could shorten your vision’s longevity.”
As Tsunade elaborated, Yosuke nodded thoughtfully. 'No wonder Sasuke’s eyes deteriorated so quickly in the original timeline. Overuse and strain are major factors, but it’s also about the lack of stabilization after awakening.'
“This is a special medicinal solution,” Tsunade continued, handing Mikoto a vial. “It helps alleviate the strain of the chakra flow, reducing pain and physical burden. However, as for fully restoring vision... this power is too unique; it will require further research.”
“Thank you, Lady Tsunade.”
Mikoto expressed her gratitude.
After the examination, Tsunade stretched lazily and retrieved a massive scroll from her lab, casually tossing it to the group.
“Those old fogies always have their reasons for restricting dangerous jutsu. But in the Senju Clan, we don’t play by their rules. These are forbidden techniques—take a look. Given your abilities, you might find one you can learn.”
As the scroll was unsealed, the names and descriptions of forbidden jutsu were revealed. The methods were still locked behind seals, but Tsunade was clearly giving them the green light to pick one.
“Tsunade-nee, you’re the best!” Kushina exclaimed in delight. Mikoto glanced at Yosuke, and upon receiving a subtle nod from him, she also expressed her thanks to Tsunade.
Yosuke, however, remained calm in the face of the tempting forbidden scroll. Forbidden techniques were not just powerful; they were also extremely challenging to master and carried great risks.
Tsunade noticed his hesitation and teased, “What’s wrong? Not interested? Or are you waiting for me to teach you Wood Release?”
At the mention of Wood Release, Yosuke’s eyes flashed with a hint of nervousness before he quickly masked it with a smile. “Tsunade-nee, please don’t joke like that.”
But Tsunade had already caught his momentary reaction, and her suspicions were immediately piqued. She clenched her fist internally.
*So, Yosuke... you’ve been hiding something from me, haven’t you?*
Feigning nonchalance, she sent Kushina and Mikoto out to study the scroll.
“Yosuke, stay here. I’ll check your body.”
---
After Kushina dragged Mikoto out, Tsunade’s demeanor shifted. She pinned Yosuke onto the examination chair with her leg, her polished toenails brushing against his face in the process.
“Tsunade-nee... what are you doing?” Yosuke stammered, flustered.
“Oh, nothing...” she replied with a sly grin, lowering her face dangerously close to his. Their breaths mingled, and Yosuke could only feel his heart racing as her teasing voice lingered in his ears.
“Yosuke, you’ve really grown up, haven’t you? Hiding things from your dear sister now...”
Before he could protest, her lips pressed against his in an unexpected kiss, leaving him utterly dazed.
The warmth of the kiss was short-lived, as Tsunade pulled away and calmly asked, “Yosuke, how long have you known about Wood Release cells?”
Her sudden question sent a chill down his spine. His Sharingan activated reflexively, but he soon realized he couldn’t move or muster any chakra.
“Tsunade-nee, you... drugged me?”
Tsunade licked her lips with a cold smile. “What did you expect? I won’t let you hide anything from me.”
Her plan had been meticulous—using sedatives mixed with confusion-inducing drugs to catch him off guard. As Yosuke struggled to think of an excuse, Tsunade pulled out a vial containing a white substance.
“This is what I found in the Land of Rain. It contains traces of my grandfather’s Wood Release cells. Care to explain?”
Yosuke froze. *Damn it! This must’ve been left behind by White Zetsu... or Uchiha Madara.*
Tsunade’s stern gaze softened slightly as she added, “Yosuke, you don’t have to bear everything alone. I’m here for you.”
She then leaned forward, pressing her forehead gently against his in an affectionate gesture.
“Yosuke, I believe in you. One day, you’ll become the first Uchiha Hokage.”
As she handed him a necklace once owned by the First Hokage, Yosuke broke into a cold sweat. He knew the infamous fate that came with this necklace.
“This is too precious—”
“No arguments.” Tsunade glared, her tone leaving no room for refusal.
In the end, Yosuke reluctantly accepted the gift, all while silently vowing to grow stronger during the upcoming years of peace.
'Tsunade, one day, I’ll prove myself worthy of this trust.'
