Several months ago, I acquired this antique wardrobe, and I have harbored grand plans for its use since its arrival in its new home. I initially approached this project with some trepidation due to the cabinet’s irregular interior dimensions, requiring that shelves must be cut to somewhat of a unique shape to fit properly. Given the complexity of cutting one side of the shelves at an 80° angle, I regretfully did not document that particular part. Nevertheless, the project is now complete! Next, baseboards. I am poised for greatness if I continue checking off my huge list of small chores. This one feels good!

Niiiice! It’s worth it to put the effort into older furniture especially if they are heirlooms fast down through the generations. Affordable Furniture today isn’t made the same.

Been a while but I used to love restoring old furniture. When my Grabdad died and Grandma went into a nursing home we got a number of their old furniture. But stripping the pant off some of them took so long and in some cases some really dodgy paint stripper (costic soda) but it turn out well.
