Up The Mountain 🏔

I get excited when Blue suggests we get out of the house and go on a little adventure. It's easy to get caught up in the routine of daily life but you gotta break it up sometimes. Getting out into the world and exploring someplace new is a family fave. I had seen something about this forest on IG and had been wanting to check it out for a while now. We loaded in the car and headed up the mountain. As we ascended I continued to watch the thermometer drop. Soon I found myself driving on very icy, slippery roads. We realized that we were not prepared at all for this excursion. You'd think two boys who just spent 5 years living in the mountains would have known better. I suppose the warm Socal mindset has wiggled its way in. That being said, as kids often do, Rosa and Crow showed us that you can find fun anywhere. It just takes a little imagination and a willingness to play.
