Give us your you best 🧑🏼‍🎤

This past weekend I went on a solo turn around road-trip. I was wearing my Doc Martens and blasting the The Smashing Pumpkins album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. I was feeling the nostalgic flashback vibes for real. Not sure all the songs in this video still hold up on my list today but it's a fun look back to when we first started the channel.

What are your fave flashback songs?? Asking for my next road-trip adventure.  -M

Definetely drive across the Country. Before I took my WTC Job in 1999, I took a week of vacation and was a 1 man Thelma and Louise. Rented a convertible from Enterprise and started drivving from Jackson, Mississippi. Down to New orleans to visit with a Cousin, then west to Houston where another cousin lived. Then thoughjt, heck, my Aunt works at a Mission near Phoenix so headed that direction through backroads, drove across Texas and headed to Roswell NM, I thought, if i'm gonna get near it, might as well see it (ate lunch at a diner with staff wore antenna and bot a alien candy sucker). Then slept on top of my hood on a reddish orange Mesa off the backroads of New Mexico before heading to Phoenix and visited with my Aunt (god bless her soul). Then it hit me...LA is only a few hours away so off I went down the interstate to LA. Walked into the Pacific Ocean in California, first time there. Then it hit me....You have to DRIVE BACK. Up through Vegas and through Utah to Dallas (scary no barrier roads up the mountain are not fun). crossed over Kansas to Witchita and South to Tulsla OK and over to Little rock AR and back to Jackson, MS. All in all, 11 States, 3,600 miles in 7 days. Was exhausted and all my photos were literally taken while driving. Enterprise shit themselves and thought the odomoter was broken. Visit the country and if your'e taking the kids, hit the historic landmarks, if not, check out the gay community and how it changes from region to region/state to state.
