So Emilia from Re:zero is the winner for the next set!

Emilia starts out as rather naive, good-natured girl who ends up being stripped of her familial bonds and then forced to live in a forest alone for years. She develops herself to close herself off from others from this. Additionally, she was ridiculed, hated, and disrespected on by literally everyone, even her closest allies, due to her resemblance to another character that destroyed half the world in a mass calamity/genocide. Some of which try to take her life. She develops a very poor self image, often making any of her interactions with those around her transactional. However, she moves past a lot of her insecurities when the main character Subaru shows up and hopelessly falls in love with her, as he treats her unlike anyone else she knows. At first his idolization starts off as a one sided toxic relationship, but once he starts moving past his own issues he helps Emilia with hers, which leads to Emilia attaining more self confidence, better at interacting and communicating with others, and even having a lot of Subaru's quirks rub off on her, as she starts to fall for him as he did for her.
