I was not prepared for just how shocking finally reaching the era of Nickelodeon I was nostalgic for might be after this long, fascinating journey (I mean, technically parts of Double Dare’s later retoolings were on in my youth, but this is the first show I remember seeing the earliest material from), so this one kind of floored me.
