Maybe she says it’s part of the interview process and she has to be ready for anything working on a beach, especially if she falls asleep on duty and there are troublemakers around. Maybe Nani fails the process by being too ticklish and begging too much. The lifeguard could tie her big toes together at one point to hold her feet still while she brushes them in the finale
