September Updates

This month's update will be a quick one as I don't have too much to say. Work has been keeping me busy, as well as settling into my new flat and slowly furnishing and decorating my room (fun adult life). I'm very well! What about you?
I don't have a single update on the YouTube front! It's been a needed break, and I've only this week or so begun to feel like I'll have the time and mental energy to now return to rereading Umineko and thinking about videos. I've also only just gotten back to watching some anime and reading some manga, and I can feel the inspiration beginning to take root. I think it will take a while longer before I'm back at full creative power, but it's a really nice feeling to have again. I'm not sure right now whether or not I'll actually be getting any more videos out this year, but will have plenty of notes for multiple I'll be able to release next year if I focus on the Umineko reread for now. I'm also hoping that this will allow me to move onto some of the other big YouTube projects I've had in mind for a long time in 2023 (in terms of prep time, no more six-hour videos!!).
On the Patreon front, I'll be recording the commentary podcast for Sound! Euphonium: A Love Letter to Adolescence in the coming days. It's quite a straight-forward analysis, so let me know if you have any questions about making the video or my thoughts on the series that you'd like me to answer. I'll also be posting another media round-up soon, which I'll probably stick to doing quarterly from now on. In general, both here and the channel will be quite quiet for the rest of the year, so as always, please feel free to delete your pledge if you'd rather put the money towards something else.
I can't make any promises quite yet, but am hoping next month's update will be a bit more substantial for you all! I'm steadily working towards finding a sort of routine for myself, and a place for YouTube within my new life. In the meantime and always, thank you for your support!

2022-09-26 04:52:14 +0000 UTCI hope youre excited for the next season of Hibike! I am curious if you saw the movie versions of Hibike. I really do not like how they changed the scene with Asuka and Kumiko have their talk. I believe in the movie they took out the music behind that scene and I found that a bad choice.
