Hello all!

I've spent most of the last month holed up indoors writing my Master's dissertation, but most of the hard work is now behind me and I feel creatively refreshed, so I'm ready to start on a new video. As previously mentioned, it's going to be the tentatively titled Mirai: A Celebration of Moments, covering the film by Mamoru Hosoda. This should be a relatively short video in the ten- to fifteen-minute range and will probably be more personal than analytical. I still have a lot going on in October -- I'm moving on Saturday and I'll be finishing up my dissertation -- so I don't want to put too much pressure on myself with this one, but I hope and intend to have the video up by the end of the month. I hope you'll consider checking out the film if you haven't before then -- it's wonderfully uplifting and a great one to watch with family or friends!

I don't think there's too much else to say besides that if anybody here doesn't follow me on Twitter or missed it, I recently posted a pretty chunky bit of Higurashi analysis over there not dissimilar to one of my full-blown essays.
