Our stealth camping trip
Added 2025-06-22 14:39:22 +0000 UTCWe took a couple days off of renting motel rooms to go ahead and see if we could just find a spot to camp. I went ahead and got us a tent and sleeping bags in the whole nine. It wasn't all that expensive but it has already paid for itself. Considering how expensive motel rooms are going to be this weekend. There is an auto show here in this area and they always like to double the room rates. Monday I start my new job and I will be in a motel room from Monday to Friday.
It is a fairly good paying job so two paychecks of that and I should have enough to get an apartment. When that happens I will get my stuff from storage in Michigan and bring it here and I can get back to work on the game as well as have my computer with me. I miss that big beast mother fucker. Lol
Having a good job like that also gives me a lot of latitude for things that I would really like to do in this state. Stuff like camping and hiking and canoeing and things like that would be really awesome. It wouldn't be much of a distraction from working on the projects but it would help me be more productive I believe. I'm going to be honest with you and let you know that the burnout is real. Expecting yourself to be creative 24/7/365 isn't really all that realistic. What you wind up with is watered down generic dribble and I think you guys recognized some of my work going in that direction.
This post is getting kind of long so I'm going to wrap it up and send you pictures of our stealth camping site. I spent a couple of days putting this thing together and I'm kind of proud of my work. I'm greatly appreciative of you guys' support and I hope that this transition period wraps up soon. Talk to you guys later.
