I get why people want to have a whole movie, so I'm sure they're fun, but for me it's all about the whole package, and the "missing reel" at the worst possible time is what makes it so much funnier, especially for Planet Terror - no wasting time getting to the climax, we just get dropped in. These are the kind of movies that made these filmmakers so I love the full circle aspect of it. All the directors doing a B movie trailer in their own styles and making fun of themselves was so good, it's an essential part of the experience. "Don't" was made by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead), and it was kind of satirizing 70s British movies that would be disguised when they came here. They didn't think anyone would see them if they knew the people had accents so they never spoke in the previews, and they'd change the British title to something vague like that. It's brilliant. "Nicolas Cage as...Fu Manchu" will never not be funny.
