2025-03-24 02:15:28 +0000 UTCI will also say Calypso is a complicated character yes her actions were wrong but looking at it from her perspective she was trapped on an Island for a century with no contact with the outside world and all of a sudden a handsome man washes up on shore the first person you've seen ever and you catch feelings for him but he doesn't share those same feelings but you are both prisoners on that island and over the next 7 years you spend with someone you love but they don't love you so her cries were genuine and she was sorry that she kept him there but she wasn't sorry for having feelings and she's angry and upset that he didn't share the same romantic feelings but they did share a sort of friendship and connection which is where the" I love you but not in the way you want me to" comes into like he had platonic feelings but no romantic feelings

2025-03-24 02:14:44 +0000 UTCIk I'm a bit late but the whole never once has he cheated on his wife bit was a diss at Zeus because in Greek myth he constantly cheated on Hera who is also the Goddess of Marriage so it's shows one he's faithful to his marriage which makes Hera happy and two it means he's a better man than Zeus which earns her respect which is why she was quick to turn and also why Zeus was so pissed despite Athena being his favorite kid
