I'm sure youtube's told you, but to clarify: Yes, Odysseus dropped the child. It was originally ambiguous because the concept album didn't actually answer the question, but Jorge, the creator, has confirmed that Odysseus did drop the child. Gigi, who did the animatic you watched, has since made an updated version that is changed in only one way: over the black screen at the end, a white outline of Odysseus' closed fist, opening to let the blankets go. It's absolutely chilling.

2025-02-22 00:39:23 +0000 UTCIn just a man, he's contemplating the fact that Astyanax (the baby) is the same age as his son (Telemachus) who was a baby when he left for the Trojan war 10 years prior. At this point Telemachus is 10 years old, but obviously Odysseus (the main character) only remembers him as a baby. Also, Jorge Rivera-Herrans (the creator) is the voice of Odysseus. Love the reaction btw
