You have no idea of the brainsplosion I had when I realized Ruby was in love with Gorou. Wtf Japan. How is this supposed to go anywhere healthy? π₯΄ And it's a MASSIVE age gap. She's 16 and as far as she knows, Gorou is in his mid-40s. Even if we add her original 10 years onto that, it's still very very not good because of all the other things wrong with it. I think the stars have something to do with their motivations. Aqua was driven by revenge, and when he thought it wasn't possible, the star went away. Ruby's started to disappear when she found Gorou's body, because her reason for being an idol was so he could find her.
