This was a great classic, I like Maltese Falcon for Detective Noir and My favorite black and white movie is Harvey with Jimmy Stewart

2022-01-09 21:18:00 +0000 UTCYou were right that this was kind of a bold movie to make for the time, but you had the year wrong. It wasn't 1948; it was 1942. The war was still going. Nobody could be sure how it was going to turn out. So, yeah, this was a ballsy movie to make at the time.
