You haven't seen Lord of the Rings?! You are in for one amazing ride. For those of us who have access to both (yes, I'm a crazy fangirl; don't judge), it would help to know whether you're reacting to the theatrical release or the extended edition. (This one was the theatrical release.) A lot of LOTR fans will insist that extended edition is the only way to go. I'm not going to join them; I think there are good arguments to be made either way. I just want to know which one to cue up. :)
