I agree with you. I don’t think I would have convicted him either. The gleefulness of the jury disturbed me. I will always leave my mind open for new information and theories in every case. The Rocha family has been through so much. This must be an excruciating development for them.

I definitely think he was a crappy husband, but I don’t think the state proved beyond a reasonable doubt 😳 I spiraled on this case and there’s some questionable things he did for sure but there’s a lot of loose ends that I don’t think his defense attorney did a good job on presenting. I think if he would have had a better attorney he would’ve got off. He made poor choices as a man and husband, but I personally couldn’t convict him based off what I know about the case. Which sucks because I don’t think the cops did a very good job either. I feel so badly for Laci and her family, I couldn’t imagine.
