Ruby Franke, 41, once a successful family vlogger, was arrested on August 30, 2023, along with Jodi Hildebrandt, her business partner and podcast host. They were both charged with six counts of aggravated child abuse. They were arrested after the shocking escape of Franke’s 12 year-old-son from Hildebrandt’s home where he had been tied with rope, duct taped, and starved.
