A thought process stirred up by a recent comment on an old post.
I have been hoping my whole life that is true. Sometimes I'm gifted glimpses that this magic does exist.... but if I'm still asking, that means I haven't fully experienced it on a permanent level.
The questions that invade my heart:
Can you have a successful career but also be in a serious relationship? Can you be truly great at something and also be in love? Can you be a master of your craft and also be worthy of someone's love? Is success enough? Is love just enough? Why can't you have both? Is it possible to be admired by many but only seek one person's love? Is it healthy to make changes to be with someone? Do you naturally evolve through different needs and desires based on your environment? Can someone truly love you for everything you are and value you fully for what you have to offer? Can you do the same in return? How do you know when one chapter ends and a new one begins? How do you not loose yourself when you've fallen in love?
Truthfully, I do believe I have slowly started finding the answers to these questions. Though I don't fully trust them. Or perhaps I'm open to the fact that the answers might change.
