Finally got around to watching this, loved it, one of my favorite bands. You always make me forget i’ve seen a million other videos about whoever you cover. The perfume analysis was enthralling. Also I agree with everything Valerie said, I think your voice just happened to sound a little more animated than usual in the intro, and obviously youtube commenters will latch on to that, but it sounded normal the rest of the video. Your narration keeps me engaged and I love your impressions, part of the reason I started following you was cause you use your real voice.

There's an inherent vulnerability with sharing your work to a wide audience, even when you don't show your face. I really do appreciate it so much, and thank you <3

2025-10-20 12:10:33 +0000 UTCplease don't listen to any of the youtube comments about your narration. you're literally my favorite youtuber. i slug through my whole week waiting for you to upload, more than any TV show i've ever been into. you cover really interesting topics and you cover them in a rawer and deeper way than anybody else while having great style. Your voice and intonation are really soothing without being ASMR, and it genuinely really comforts me when I'm having a hard time. The Beatles are my favorite band and I watch even shitty videos from small creators, so i've been watching you from the first video and you've been great since then. Nirvana is my second favorite band so it's so awesome that they're the next band you chose to cover. I don't know why I'm getting so defensive or saying so much, but it made me so happy to see you get so many views that I got fucking offended by that comment section, and I'd hate to see you change just because some people don't get it.

2025-10-16 20:22:01 +0000 UTCThe point of perfume has clearly gone over a few heads. Its a comedy, that represents perfectly, the misanthropic wealthy elite who commodify people for their own means. The way Kurt seems to feel about it is sympathetic to Jean Grenouille who is painted as the Anti Christ, in the most comedically perfect way, to represent wealthy elites. Sorry way off topic I know this isn't good reads. Great video as always, I would absolutely love a video on 'in utero' .
