Upcoming videos...thoughts!

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you all and tune you in to some upcoming videos.

Seriously, your support means so much to me. I know you all aren't the chattiest bunch (and that's okay 😍) but it's an honor to have a little community here!

So right now, the plan is this: edit and release one more video, bringing us to beginning of the filming of A Hard Day's Night. Then we'll jump into my most ambitious project to date: WHY THE BEATLES BROKE UP

I've already started preliminary research, listening and annotating interviews from John and Paul, and I've read or starting reading a few different books. John's sister Julia Baird wrote one about their upbringing called "Imagine This" that I just finished which was really quite tragic.

I'm still working on reading Pete Shotton 's and Cynthia Lennon (Powell)'s John centric books as well. There are about 3 or 4 other books I also want to read.

What I'm hoping is to make a series of videos that are far more narrative, and more demonstrative of The Beatles as a group of real individuals. I really want to create a comprehensive understanding of the interpersonal dynamics between all of The Beatles, and how that ties into all of the details we are already very familiar with when it comes to their demise (Brian Epstein's death, John/Yoko/Paul, Allen Klein, Apple). And to do this, I'm starting at the very beginning.

I always have fun working on my videos, but lately I've had a more difficult time balancing the excruciating detail I crave, while still maintaining an accurate, but compelling narrative. Also, something annoying for me, and probably for you all as well, is the constant repeating or rephrasing that takes place, usually in the intro.

Obviously, this is an attempt to draw in new viewers, or more casual Beatles fans, to make a video stand on its own if it has to. I just always get a little insecure with the hyperbole, the dramatics of it all.

All of this to say I'm super excited to work on something a bit different. A little break of habit, one that I hope will help me improve my writing a bit as well. There will be a longer break between videos on here because of the extra research it requires, but hopefully its worth it!

Thank you all again so much! (Especially if you read all of this rambling post<3)

Very exciting news!! A book I’m about to start that looks into John and Paul’s relationship specifically is called ‘John and Paul a Love Story in Songs’ by Ian Leslie, it looks great and would be perfect for this type of video. Absolutely adore your channel, keep it up!

Super excited, I’m a super slow reader so it’d take me forever to get through all the deep beatles info, so it’s amazingly helpful to be able to watch your videos and know I’m getting info from the sources I haven’t been able to dive into yet. Keep up the great work! We all appreciate it greatly and are cheering you on! We see all the work that goes into every video!
