I decided to try out Milanote about a month ago after seeing it recommended for my specific type of project. I actually really like it. It lets you use bubble webs, or whatever they're called.
Translating all my google doc notes to it has been time consuming in of itself, but it's very good at showing me how much I still need to do. Now it just needs a deadline option, preferably where the program acts really disappointed in you when you fail to meet said deadline.
But yeah, I've never been much of a small detail person. Big ideas scattered all over the place is an apt representation for how my brain wants to build stories. It reminds me of the whole "gardener vs architect" thing, when it comes to methods of worldbuilding.
Forcing myself to write the information down and make it make sense has been a challenge- for every end that I tie, I'm hit with five other ideas that suddenly spring up out of the ground. But struggling with that is most of the fun of it, right? Makes me a bit sad to imagine actually finishing it.
Anyway, I'm working on some concept pieces that I'd like to share with everyone soon. Just want to make sure they feel right.
