I am sensitive but trying to control or repress it only makes it worse. The healthiest thing is to express who you are and how you feel and if someone doesn't like it so be it. I hate conflict so absolutely appreciate it's easier said than done!

I tried to hide my feelings when I was a kid, but I've learned to embrace my sensitivity and ability to feel strongly. I see it more as a strength than a weakness nowadays.

2025-02-17 20:50:51 +0000 UTCYou know the saying courage isn't the absence of fear, it's what you do despite feeling fear. The same concept can apply to all of your emotions. You'll still feel the emotions but you can improve on how much you let them affect you and how you respond to them. In my 30's and still learning how to do this.
