Strippers, cruise bars, and one wild first Pride! 🌈
Last week, we stripped down at our favorite nudist-friendly hotel in PV—Casa Cupula—and gave you all the behind-the-scenes from their iconic pool parties. 🥵 But this week, we’re slipping into something darker… because it’s time to talk STRIP SHOWS and CRUISE BARS in Puerto Vallarta!
Okay, first up is the always cheeky Boys on Fire show—this year’s theme? Superheroes! 🦸♂️ While we’re still partial to last year’s Fantasies (that masseuse still lives rent-free in our minds), it was still a blast. The new Coco Cabaret venue added a fun twist, and the crowd? 🔥🔥🔥
Located right on Lázaro Cárdenas among all the gay nightlife, Banana Factory has quickly become one of our favorite all-in-one spots.
✔️ Cute patio for people-watching
✔️ Air-conditioned bar to cool off (or heat up 😉)
✔️ Back patio with live entertainment
✔️ Sexy, flirty crowd + 2-for-1 drinks all night
✔️ And yes… a dark room in the back for those kinds of encounters
No gay PV guide is complete without Paco’s Ranch—and let’s just say, the dancers here were way too sexy for YouTube. 💦
This legendary bar is a must for the go-go lover in all of us. It also happens to be one of the most historic gay venues in Vallarta. Named after Paco Ruiz, one of the original pioneers of gay nightlife in PV (alongside his husband David), this bar’s legacy as Paco Paco helped shape the city into the LGBTQ+ paradise it is today.
We gave Club 69 a shot this trip. Colombian guys, super cute, super friendly—but not a single strip tease on stage. 💁♂️ It was all private lap dances, which meant each dancer made a beeline for tips without giving a show. We felt a little too pressured, and honestly—it’s just not our vibe.
We always end the night at Studs—and for Vallarta Pride, this place was WILD. 😈 We grabbed the Pride Pass, but tbh? You don’t need it. The line wasn’t bad, and the crowd was hot AF.
🎶 There was full action on the dance floor... the live shows are quite impressive... and behind the coat check? A very busy dark room. But what really blew our minds this year? The upstairs cage area by the bathrooms—curtains that close for a little added privacy. During Pride, both the dance floor and cage space were buzzing. And by buzzing, we mean very active.
This was our first time experiencing Puerto Vallarta Pride—and wow, it delivered. From the insane parties to the parade, sexy shows, and everything in between, it checked every box for a proper gaycation. We’ll definitely be back.
