Zipolite is Mexico’s most legendary nude beach… but where do you go after the sun sets and the clothes come off? There’s only one answer: ChiZme Art Bar, the town’s first—and still favorite—gay nudist bar.

ChiZme (Spanish for “gossip”) is a small but iconic spot just off the main drag—open from 7 to 11 PM, but only if the rainbow lights are glowing. It’s nudist-optional every night, but nude-mandatory on Fridays and Sundays—and yes, we mean absolutely everything off.

At sunset, Playa del Amor is where the real show starts, but after dark, it’s all about ChiZme.

It’s run by Vincent, who keeps the mezcal flowing and the vibes unpredictable. His new bartender Alejandro? Let’s just say he knows how to shake more than cocktails. 😏 Both speak English and Spanish, and every night attracts a fun mix of locals, expats, and sexy tourists from around the world.

Some nights are chill—think sultry lighting and moody art-gallery vibes. But other nights? Let’s just say we’ve seen the whole bar go wild.

And if you’re wondering about the rumors—yes, there is a kind of “dark room.” It’s really just an open area next to the bar, but you can’t see it when you first walk in. During Pride, Vincent added rainbow flags for “privacy,” but let’s be honest: it’s still very public... in all the best ways. 😈

👬 Another men-only nudist resort, Men Zipolite, is coming this fall! We had dinner with the new owners (lovely guys), and ran into them again—naturally—at Playa del Amor. Can’t wait to see their new space when it opens.
