This week, we’re spilling the tea (and maybe a few cocktails) on our stay at The Mari Jean—St. Pete’s unapologetically queer, fun, and sexy new gay hotel. And trust us, there’s no mistaking where you are when you check in. With sexy guy pics everywhere, cheeky pillows that say Just the Tip, and three buzzing bars—including the brand-new Ball Lounge (conveniently located at the base of The Cock 🍆 as they say)—Mari Jean is the place to be!

From day drinking at The Wet Spot (yes, that’s really the name of their pool bar 😏) to late nights at Cocktail St. Pete, this place knows how to party. And don’t worry if you book one of the “budget” rooms—let’s just say, the views inside are just as steamy as the Florida heat! 🔥

But the fun doesn’t stop there! We also made time for a very liberating visit to Casa del Merman, aka Gay St. Pete House, where almost everyone is hanging out in the nude. This laid-back, clothing-optional guesthouse is a social hub for local nudists and visitors alike. Whether you go for a cheeky dip, some casual sunbathing, or to meet new friends, one thing’s for sure—you’ll leave with a golden tan and some very memorable stories. 😉
