🎭 Behind the Beads: Our Wild Gay New Orleans Weekend! 🌈🕺

We just closed out an epic weekend in the Big Easy, and let’s just say… New Orleans never disappoints! 😏 With Mardi Gras just around the corner, we hit the streets (and the bars) for some behind-the-scenes fun while filming our Gay Nightlife Guide to NOLA—and trust us, we have some extra moments just for you, our VIPs. 🥵

First up? Krewe Bohème & Krewe du Vieux—the first parades after Twelfth Night that officially kick off Carnival season! These French Quarter parades are a total spectacle of drag queens, dazzling costumes, and just enough debauchery to set the tone for Mardi Gras. And what did we get handed? No beads, no trinkets—just a Krewe de Kink pin. 😂 Seems about right! (Swipe to see the evidence!)

But you know we didn’t stop there. We revisited some of our all-time faves, including Oz, where Amateur Strip-Off Night served up some seriously bold contenders. And then there was Corner Pocket, where the go-go boys were turning all the tricks (on the bar, of course 😉).

And our favorite new discovery? Rawhide. Supposedly, it’s party in the front, business in the back—but honey, we saw everything right at the bar. The sexy bartender in a jock strap getting involved? Yeah, it was that kind of night. 🥵🔥

Finally, after all the parades, parties, and more than a few go cups (cheers to the Open Container District! 🍹), we wrapped it all up with Trai getting cleaned up in the shower—because someone had to rinse off all that Big Easy fun. 💦😏
