From deep end to weekend, who's ready for a pool party? No clothes allowed!
When people ask us why we chose Tulum over super gay Puerto Vallarta, it always comes down to being able to buy a house where we can run around nkd for less than a condo in PV... and the fact that Tulum has of the most beautiful beaches on the planet! Unfortunately, the beach is not the nudist haven it once was when Tulum was undiscovered! But don't worry, we know of a number of hidden gems for nudists that we'll continue to highlight for you.
In addition to Loba Tulum, the gay men only hotel we took you to a few weeks ago, we also rent our house on Airbnb when we're traveling (or to help us travel more)! Casa Cangrejo is 100% nudist-friendly and comes equipped with two bedrooms, three baths, and a private saltwater pool. There's also an outdoor shower with hot water and a double rain shower in our suite (Trai's favorite)! You can see all the photos here: https://www.airbnb.com/h/casa-cangrejo
Over the past 4 years, we've watched Tulum grow around us, including some pretty major investments in infrastructure. There's a brand new international airport serving multiple U.S. cities with the Maya Train and Jaguar National Park opening soon. We also have a permanent gay bar again—Red Room—within a short walk from the house.
If you're planning to visit Tulum this year or next, the absolute best deals can be found from now through mid-December. High season on both coasts in Mexico runs from December to April when the weather is typically dry and sunny. As a PSA for anyone contemplating Puerto Vallarta or Zipolite for New Year's or the Nudist Festival in February, definitely book sooner than later! And don't forget to click the links below for Andy teasing us (again)!
