Amsterdam Pride - Canal Parade, Street Festivals & Events

As a compliment to this week's YouTube video, we're excited to share our highlights of Amsterdam Pride. Sponsored by Eagle, Crash aka Fetish at Pride was our favorite of the street festivals. The performances were wild, including sexy dancers, incredible music, and mind blowing fetish displays. The crowd was super diverse and mostly dressed in gear or shirtless.

While the street parties continue until midnight, we highly recommend arriving early for Club Church, the best gay club for dancing and cruising in Amsterdam. To avoid the massive queue and for space in the free clothes check—you can go nkd, in drag, or dance in your underwear—arrive by 10pm sharp. For Eagle or Spijkerbar, which are much smaller cruise bars, we surprisingly found no lines at either until after midnight. Alternatively, pre-purchase tickets to Pride events like Bear Necessity or FunHouse XXL, the largest gay event in the city.

Now, let's talk about the crown jewel of Amsterdam Pride. Held on the last Saturday of Pride Week, the Canal Parade starts at 12pm and lasts until around 6pm. It's a nonstop party around the outermost canal ring called Prinsengracht.
