Well Gon is your typical Gryffindor 😂 the fact he knew the others would catch him when he jumped is not proven and will remain a mystery. He's that reckless 🥲 Since you started with AOT, I understand this is quite the tonal shift. AOT is way darker than many animes though. But still Togashi (hxh creator) is a master at balancing the tone and you can already see a slight shift in this episode when Kurapika revealed his quest for vengeance. Enjoy the ride guys, and stick with it if you can, hunterxhunter is a masterpiece and can only be enjoyed for the first time once. And don't mind taking your time really expressing your thoughts because many people love hearing the discussions. Keep going ~
