Casa Nudista, Zipolite

If you watched our latest YouTube video highlighting the best gay nude hotels in Mexico, you know Casa Nudista is our favorite in Zipolite. We love that it's nudist mandatory and not just clothing optional. We find the atmosphere friendly, respectful and safe. It's an environment where everyone is equal. There’s no pretense. It’s also much easier to meet people and make connections when everyone’s guard is down and you're on full display!

In terms of accommodations, Casa Nudista offers suites with kitchens, standard guest rooms, dorm rooms for solo travelers, and glamping! The outdoor shower for two (or more!) is amazing. All room types include air-conditioning, Mexoni beach towels for use during your stay, and daily breakfast. Taken together around a communal table, breakfast consists of warm chocolate croissants and fresh fruit. You'll also have the opportunity to meet your fellow guests. Given the range of price points, there's a great mix of people! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here as a solo traveler, couple or group of friends.

On Fridays, the welcoming staff organize an excursion to nearby Playa del Amor for sunset. You can bring your own towel or grab a beach chair with an umbrella if you purchase drinks from one of the two palapas or thatched roof beach bars. Go skinny dipping or socialize with guys from all over the world at the best gay beach in Mexico. Stick around for fire shows and debaucherous fun once it gets dark.

After the beach, don't miss ‘Nkd Fridays’ at Chizme, Zipolite's first gay bar! While the bar is always clothing optional, owner Vincent makes a concerted effort to get everyone nkd on Fridays to kick off the weekend. It's a quirky, multi-sensory experience, with fun and friendly service. Best of all for guests of Casa Nudista, it's located right next door!

On Saturdays, the revelry continues when Casa Nudista hosts their weekly nudist pool party from 3-8pm. This popular gay event brings together locals and visitors. Entrance costs between 150-200 Mexican Pesos (approximately $8-10 USD) and includes one cocktail or two beers. Bring your own towel and plenty of sunscreen. Around sunset, the party continues poolside, but a good number of people return to Playa del Amor for the nightly ritual. 

For Sunday funday, we recommend treating yourself to a gay massage with a handsome masseur. Casa Nudista recently added onsite massages, but we also like to book couples massages with Massage Zipolite on the main beach just steps away and Masajes en Shambala near El Alquimista Hotel, our favorite lunch spot. A 50-minute massage typically costs around 800 Mexican Pesos (approximately $42 USD). Check the video below. It looks like Andy was REALLY enjoying his massage!
