In honor of Amsterdam Pride this week, it only seems fitting that we highlight our favorite gay club... and not just any gay club. Of all the naturist bars and clubs in Amsterdam—and there are MANY—Club Church takes the proverbial cake and EVERYTHING to a whole new level. It's Amsterdam's most famous gay club after all and for good reason. Theme nights such as "nude dudes with no attitude" Wednesdays and "drop your pants and dance" Fridays are not for the faint of heart.

For us, Blue on Thursdays wins best night of the week. It’s Amsterdam’s self-described most absurd dance party. All genders and sexualities are welcome with free entrance for those coming in drag or going nude. We decided to save the €25 euro cover for two, check our clothes for free, and dance the night away in our birthday suits!

Now for what we can't share on Instagram or YouTube. Upon entry, you will find a clothes check and small changing area with benches that opens to the dance floor, stage, and bar that runs the length of the space. To the left of the bar, there is an exhibitionist space with a TV above the bar for your viewing pleasure. Upstairs on the balcony, there are two slings, group play areas, and a dark room. Downstairs, there is another play space, a dark room, and the bathrooms where you will find a "dickwasher. " A lovely young man showed us EXACTLY how it worked which you can see in the attached video.

In addition to Club Church, the same group owns the one and only gay Sauna NZ in Amsterdam and newly opened Free Willie, a nudist gay bar. On Thursdays, Free Willie hosts a nutcracker pool competition and "Willie Wankers" bate party on Fridays. They're also open until 4-5am, so they can be a good "night cap" if you will at the end of your night.
