For the best gay nude beach in Mexico, don't miss Playa del Amor on the rugged Oaxaca Coast. At sunset, the LGBTQ+ community comes together in this protected cove for naked swimming and socializing. To reach Playa del Amor, walk to the far east end of Playa Zipolite and over the stairs behind Salmastro. Lay out your towel or enjoy one of the chairs provided by Palapa Tony or Mary (our favorite) with a cold beer. Beers cost around 50 pesos (cash only). After sunset, the palapas line the beach with candles and traveling fire breathers and dancers often perform. When darkness falls, naked gay men gather by the smaller cove to the left of the towering rock for sexual encounters. It's an epic scene every gay man must experience once, especially after making the long trek to Zipolite!
