One reason is that they're more deliberate than a faster trigger, so every individual sound is stronger. The other reason is that slower movement also lets you hear individual sound more clearly, whereas the sounds just blend together with faster triggers

2023-01-11 18:04:37 +0000 UTCI was just thinking about the fact that I prefer very slow ear licks and I'm glad you're so great at it, when I realized you go at the same slow pace while scratching fabric, and that also sounds so much better (to me at least) than when someone runs their hands across fabric really fast
