Hey Charm Cats! I am so excited to bring your our second guest design of the year: the Jasmin Jumpsuit by none other than the divine Jasmin Rodriguez, founder of Vintage Vandalizm! I've admired Jasmin's impeccable style for years, so it's a dream come true to have had the opportunity to collaborate with her on this pattern.
Jasmin's brand is known for its curve-hugging silhouettes and sumptuous fabrics, and this dazzling jumpsuit is no exception! This pattern is ’40s loungewear-meets-disco for the most sparkly and sultry garment you've ever put on your body. The stretch Lurex fabric provides a dose of drama, and it’s festive enough for a night on the town but comfortable enough for a night in. The form-fitting bodice is fully lined with a bit of structure, and it looks fabulous on all body types. The pants are generously cut, with a flowy fit and an elastic-cuffed ankle that will make you feel like a retro princess.

I'm excited to say you'll pick up some new sewing skills on this one too! Make sure to watch the video in my separate post to learn all about using clear elastic to stabilize the neckline, inserting an invisible zipper, lining the bodice with spandex for a clean finish, and more!
Wondering about fabrics and supplies? Check out the video and written instructions at the bottom of this post for links and recommendations. You'll also find the tiled file (for printing at home on A4 or letter size sheets and taping together) and the A0 file (for printing at a copy shop like pdfplotting.com). Please note that we now have two size blocks, so make sure to download the correct files for the size you're making. If you have any questions about the new range, don't forget to read our blog post with all the details!
I hope you love sewing and wearing the #JasminJumpsuit! Thank you, Jasmin, for creating something so special for us.
xoxo,
Gertie
P.S. As a reminder, please do not share these photos or patterns to other social media sites so that we can keep creating exclusive new content for you!
