Meet the Audrey Cigarette Pants – the perfect wardrobe staple for for the chic bohemian. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s beatnik look in Funny Face, this is a coveted vintage style that will pair with just about everything in your wardrobe. Choose from an elegant ankle-length slim pant or make the capri-length version, and go full matador style with pocket trim and a hem lacing detail. I designed these pants to be ultra-comfy in stretch fabric (secret sweatpants, anyone?) but they also have a tailored feel with crisp curved pockets. The pocket stay makes sure that there’s no gaping, just a sleek look to flatter your curves. (You can even cut the pocket stay from power mesh for a little extra control!) I hope you love this practical yet dapper addition to our pattern library.

Don’t miss the next post for a video tutorial walking you through the full construction process for both lengths. I’ll walk you through constructing the pocket stay, applying the flat elastic waistband, adding the lacing detail, and much more!
